Nine Star Ki Energy Forecast for 2024
Nine Star Ki is a form of ancient astrology that consists of three numbers or “stars” – your Principle, Character and Energetic stars. It is based on the Luo Shu magic square that also provides the foundation of the bagua that is used in feng shui. Like western astrology, Human Design, Four Pillars, and other modalities, Nine Star Ki is a way to better understand your personal Qi (energy). It is sometimes looked at in conjunction with a feng shui consultation, as your personal energy influences that of your environment and vice versa.
A simplified way of understanding your Principle number is that it’s your most prevalent personality or basic nature, similar to what your sun sign represents in western astrology.
How to calculate your Principle star
1. Take your birth year and add the individual digits together.
For example: 1984
1+9+8+4 = 22
Continue adding the individual digits together, reducing it until you get a single digit number
2+2 = 4
2. If your birthday is after February 4, then subtract the number you ended up with in step 1 and subtract from 11.
Example: 11-4= 7
In this example, your Principle star is 7.
If your birthday is between Jan 6-Feb 3, then subtract the number you got in step 1 from 12.
Example: 12-4 = 8
In this example, your Principle star is 8.
