This is e-opala’s first e-waste recycling event in Kahala, partnering with Kahala Elementary School and the Cancer Center to help the community safely dispose of unwanted electronics—while supporting two great causes.
This is your chance to declutter your home or office, responsibly recycle your old tech, and give back to our local schools and health initiatives.

Hawaii Lions Club – Central Union Church Recycling Event
Hawaii Lions Club is partnering with Central Union Church to host a free community recycling event.
Clear out unwanted items like electronics, HI-5 containers, gently used clothing, diapers, canned goods, and more — all while supporting local sustainability efforts.
Acceptable donations include:
Computers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and TVs (no limit)
HI-5 beverage containers
Car batteries only
Gently used clothing
Diapers and wipes for keiki and kūpuna
Pet supplies — towels, blankets, and unopened pet food
Canned goods
Used eyeglasses and hearing aids
Unwanted cars (call ahead to schedule)
Not accepted:
Paint, motor oil, cooking oil, or other hazardous fluids
Tires, metal, wood, or construction debris
Microwaves or other appliances
Ink cartridges and toner
Paper, cardboard, or plastics
Bulky items or furniture
Household items

Kick off the summer by clearing out unwanted electronics while supporting Mauka Lani Elementary School! Drop off your old computers, laptops, tablets, printers, cell phones, batteries, and more for responsible recycling. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Mauka Lani Elementary and its students! Thank you for your support!

East O‘ahu, it’s your turn — join Hawaii Kai’s first E-Waste Recycling Fundraiser to support Kaiser High School Athletics!
We’re bringing responsible recycling to the East Side of the island! This is our 5th Go Green-ER E-Waste Recycle Fundraiser, and the very first E-Opala collection event in Hawaii Kai — a perfect opportunity to clean out old electronics while giving back to our community.
